During the COVID-19 lockdown, FACT implemented the Tiunikileni project with funding from the Urgent Africa Fund. This initiative, with a budget of $5000, spanned three months and focused on raising awareness and empowering communities to confront and address VAWG.

FACT conducted comprehensive training sessions to over 280 Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW), 16 community leaders, and 12 social workers.

Notably, FACT collaborated with the Blantyre Police Victim Support Unit (PVSU) to investigate and report over 27 cases of violence against girls, including 6 rape cases, 3 defilement cases, and 4 child marriages.
